Stream to IOS & Android Devices
The Teradek Clip is the world’s smallest and lightest H.264 transmitter developed specifically for unmanned aerial vehicles. Clip gives copter pilots a powerful HD video transmission solution for low latency monitoring on iOS devices over 2.4/5GHz WiFi. Clip has a micro HDMI input, dual RP-SMA jacks for high gain antennas, and can transmit up to 300ft without a router.*
*Range can be greatly extended using routers and directional antennas.
Clip Includes:
- 1 6W AC Adapter
- 1 18″ Micro to Full HDMI Cable
- 2 Dual band WiFi 2.4/5GHz antennas
- 1 Quickstart Guide
Stream every shot directly to your smartphone, tablet, or directly into Wirecast. As the world’s smallest and lightest H.264 transmitter, Clip makes it easier than ever to watch your HD footage in real-time over a WiFi connection.
Small Size, Low Power
Clip is about the size of a matchbox, requires little power, and weighs approximately 2 ounces. This means you never have to worry about sizable increases to your rig or inefficient power draw that may quickly deplete onboard batteries.
TDS & RTSP Support
To ensure a robust low latency video transmission, Clip utilizes the custom TDS transport protocol, which offers a 4 frame delay and allows you to move in and out of range without having to restart the transmitter. If you’d like to stream to decoders or computers, a separate RTSP license can be purchased from the Teradek web store.
Real-Time Monitoring on iOS Devices
Clip transmits directly to iOS devices at less than 4 frames of latency*, giving you a first person view of your UAV’s flight path in real time.
This is Just the Beginning
Clip has a number of upcoming accessories that will allow you to monitor your footage on multiple devices, stream to decoders for point to point broadcasts, and extend the range of your wireless transmission by hundreds of meters.
Compatible With Wirecast
Using Wirecast, but don’t have a capture card for your camera? Simply install the free Stream Reader plugin and import Clip’s low latency, high definition stream directly into the Wirecast platform over 2.4/5GHz WiFi.
