Shogun Inferno combines our award winning HDR, high bright monitor with high resolution, high frame rate recording. Designed for the world’s leading cinema cameras with both QuadLink SDI* and HDMI 2.0 connections for recording up to 4K 60p (HD 240p) video, 4K 30p Raw to CDNG and 4K 60p Raw to ProRes / DNxHR.

SHOOT HDR WITH LOG CAMERA
AtomHDR image processing lets you shoot with the high brightness range of your camera’s Log profile while maintaining vibrant true-to-life colors. Conventional monitors lack this capability, displaying the brightness detail of Log but with a washed out image that makes judging exposure difficult. Be at the forefront of the HDR revolution by having a field monitor capable of resolving HDR in the field as you see it in Post Production and record the original Log image direct from the sensor for HDR grading in post production.

1500NIT 10-BIT
The 10-bit panel resolves more colors (1.07 billion colors compared to 16.7 million for standard 8-bit panels) to ensure smooth color transitions in both HDR and SDR (standard dynamic range) shooting. The 1500nit panel brings HDR to life, accentuating high contrast scenes. While for regular SDR scenes, use the brightness slider to take advantage of the 1500nit screen for hood-free outdoor monitoring.

PQ & HLG PLAYOUT & INPUT
The AtomHDR engine not only lets you set perfect exposure in the field, you can take a HDR output in either PQ or HLG* standard to compatible HDR screens or accept HDR input from your NLE for mobile grading or for HDR connection from cameras with a PQ or HLG* output. * Available in future firmware updates

4K 60P & HD 240P RECORDING
Shogun Inferno combines high resolution recording, high frame rate recording and playback. Record Video from both HDMI and SDI cameras direct from the sensor to 4:2:2 10-bit ProRes or DNxHR up to an amazing 4K 60p or HD 240p*. Record Raw over SDI* up to 4K 30p either directly to CDNG or record to ProRes or DNxHR. Playback recorded ProRes or DNxHR files via the HDMI or SDI output at the same high frame rates to supporting monitors. * Available in future firmware updates

LOG AND RAW OVER QUADLINK SDI
The QuadLink SDI connections* offer the widest camera compatibility with 1.5G/3G/6G/12G SDI inputs and a single 12G SDI output. Recording RAW* from Arri, Sony, Canon and Panasonic cameras provides 4K functionality not available in some cameras whilst also offers a far more affordable solution in terms of media costs. * Available in future firmware updates

SIMPLE OS, SOPHISTICATED SHOTS
Our flexible OS is packed with an extensive suite of scopes, all 1-touch away and simple to use. The Video OS includes tools for focus, framing & exposure (Focus peaking, 2:1/1:1 zoom, Zebra, False Color, Frame guides, SMPTE Safe Area, Waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope) along with a flexible 3D LUT implementation (use built-in LOG to Rec.709 Video or upload .cube files) and options for anamorphic de-squeeze monitoring.

CONTINUOUS POWER & SUPER FAST CHARGING
Inferno features our patented continuous power system – a hot swappable dual battery system that automatically swaps to the second battery when power is low. To support the dual battery system we include a blazingly fast battery charger, two 4-cell batteries and a D-Tap to DC coiled cable to ensure continuous power in the field is all but assured.

MONITOR & RECORD XLR AUDIO
The Shogun Inferno has multiple audio options replacing the need for a separate audio recorder. Monitor up to 8ch of embedded HDMI audio, up to 12ch of SDI audio or use the included XLR breakout cable to connect with external microphones for balanced analogue audio with 48V phantom power.

ADVANCED RECORDING CAPABILITY
Outside of RAW and high frame rate 4:2:2 Apple ProRes / AVID DNxHR recording, the Shogun Inferno adds recording functionality not found in other recorders. Trigger start/stop recording over HDMI or SDI popular cameras, convert interlace to progressive signals on the fly with built-in 3:2 and 2:2 pulldown or use features like Pre-roll (continuous cache recording) and Time lapse to maximise your creativity.

These SSDs were designed to meet the growing need for reliable, external video recording devices docked to camcorders or high-performance DSLRs. For content creators looking for more efficient, stable and flexible hi-bitrate recording in often unpredictable environments, Sony’s G Series SSDs deliver optimal performance for several popular professional video recording devices, while offering a far longer lifetime.

Building on the reliability synonymous with Sony’s Professional Media products, the new SSDs are a solid option for respective video recorders, offering videographers stable high-speed capabilities, a sense of security and lower cost of ownership due to their longer life. Using Sony’s Error Correction Code technology, the 960GB G Series SSD achieves up to 2400 TBW (terabytes written), while the 460GB drive can reach 1200 TBW, resulting in less frequent replacement and increased ROI. 2400 TBW translates to about 10 years of use for the SV-GS96, if data is fully written to the drive an average of five times per week.

The drives are also designed for ultra-fast, stable data writing. While other SSDs have a tendency for data write speeds to suddenly drop after repeated re-write cycles, Sony G Series SSDs feature built-in technology preventing sudden speed decreases, while ensuring stable recording of high bitrate 4K video without frame dropping. For example, used with an ATOMOS Shogun Inferno, G series SSD is able to record video at 4K 60p (ProRes 422 HQ) mode stably.

When paired with the necessary connection cables, the new G Series drives can be effortlessly removed from a recorder and connected to a computer for file downloading, making editing easier and faster with read speeds up to 550MB/s.

G Series SSDs also offer data protection technology that keeps content secure and intact, even if a sudden power failure occurs. To add to the drive’s stability, it features a durable connector which withstands extreme repeated insertion and removal up to 3000 times – or 6 times more tolerance than standard SATA connectors – even in harsh conditions.
